mysql port in use/do not have permissions

19 Aug, 2008 02:17 PM pfitzpat 1 post(s)	Running the osx-x86 installer and getting the following error when i specify the mysql port(3306) and hit continue… Msg: “It seems you do not have enough permissions to bind to the port or the port is already taken by another application. Please select another one.” While the error is pretty self-explanatory, i’m logged in as an admin with mysql 5 default installation. Thanks
